I do not remember my dreams so often. Usually only when I slept really long and often wake up what remains something hanging. But while I think to be right after waking up I feel the memory of it disappear ... After a few minutes I know I've dreamed but I can not really get more back. The only dreams I do remember are dreams that really detailed or otherwise make quite an impression, as dreams are so real that you really see everything and feels ... sometimes even if you're already awake. Unfortunately, that never positive dreams and if any prophetic dreams than I do hope that these predictions do not come out. Fortunately that dreams really do come very rarely. And there is nothing true .. although I have extremely often experience "deja vu" .. but are also more people I know (scientifically) that everyone dreams several times a night, but why I never? remember those dreams than almost I fall asleep ... and become in my mind at the same time back up (kinda like total anesthesia), it is only 6, 8, 10 or even 15 hours later. Without alarm, it may be even longer than 15 hours.
I used to be like you. But i have to say start with meditation ( it will be very frustrating. Even if you think nothing is happening something is actually happening when your meditating). Remembering your dreams also is a problem of what your thinking as soon as you wake up. For me when i awake up and im thinking about what to do the next hour or for the whole day i forget the dream. Also make sure nothing wakes you up suddenly or you will have a difficult time remembering. For me as the day goes by, the dreams i don't remember come up like an idea. We dream every night it just that you have to develop your consciousness to be able wake up in your dreams that is why meditation is very important. And if you wake up and you have time meditate. It is one of the easiest ways to remember your dreams and times you might even continue your dream. Remember that dreams are sometimes thoughts and at times you have astral projected but your interpreting your experience as a dream. Im not an expert but this is what i have learned after two years of meditation and now i wake up in my dreams every night and i remember them. Good luck.
