Seeing Pets when astral projecting?

My dog sleeps in my bed every night. But I have not once seen her while i was astral projecting. Wondering if anyone has seen their pet/animal while in the astral state.

I have read about two different states or planes. astral and ether. one being our physical plane. When I usually astral project I always seem to be in my room, but i'm wondering why i never see my dog. The one possible solution is that I'm not really in our physical plane and just imagining my room, but i would like to here other idea's about it.

LPC is right, the Astral plane your in is almost like a mirror image of our reality built off your own perception and imagination, so small iregularities are the norm. I viewed my feet from an OBE uncovered by my quilt whilst they were actually covered. :)
