Did astral projection happen to me?

About a month ago, my cat never came home. I had another one that disappeared a year before that, and I tried so hard to find him and never did, so though I tried to find him and still am I hadn't much hope. Maybe a week ago, I suppose it was a dream, but I got up out of bed, and felt really groggy. It was extremely hard to move, every step was a conscious decision, but I needed to make it to the door for some reason. I looked out, and to my surprise, there was Loki! He looked scared, like he wanted to run which was unusual, but I opened the door and called him inside, and he came in and ran to the food dish. I was very happy, but felt heavier by the second. I saw my boyfriend sleeping on the couch but could not wake him and needed to get back to bed. It was by far the most real feeling dream ever, I fully expected to was up and be able to hug my kitty since I was not capable physically when I let him in the night before. I kept thinking about it, so I began researching and learned of astral projection. Could it be possible that I was projecting accidentally, and saw my cat? Is that a sign that he is probably gone from the real world? And would it be possible to learn his true fate by further exploring it? This dream has also made me become obsessed with finding him, because I feel as though maybe he came to ask for my help and is scared somewhere.
