Now I believe !

Posted about 8 years ago , by Steve Clark

Hi everyone. Around a month ago I'm pretty certain I had an obe which started as a very realistic feeling of falling. This was purely by accident. It happened a couple of times again soon after. Since then I have been obsessed with recreating the experience. Until that happened I never believed in anything like this but that changed overnight. I never made it out of my bedroom but I'm now desperate to explore. If anyone could help an amateur by throwing some tips and advice my way it would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Steve

Not being able to exit your room may be due to a lot of reasons. Getting too exited is usually the case but there are more than that.

  • Fear : fear can not only make your soul radiate negative energy which attracts negative entities but it can also have you doubt your confidence and overall strength in the astral realms. Therefore you are snapped right back into your body

  • Lack of focus : Its well know that while astral projecting focus is the number one thing you need to maintain . Thinking about other stuff you have to do " later today" can make you come out of the relaxing and meditative state resulting in you waking up

  • non stop thinking of your body :everyone who is new to astral projection including me have the subconscious thought of something happening to their body.Your body is in the physical realm nothing , nothing can hurt it or enter it because you are connected to it with a cord .

Those are the main that someones ap can be short . Generally worrying to much will never help and avoiding that should always be the goal :3

Hope this helps <3

Hi Jon. Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. I agree that fear is probably the biggest inhibitor although I think it was possibly excitement which ended my experience. I seem to exit easily using the falling method. I've tried some of the other ones but I don't think visualisation is my strong point. Biggest problem I seem to have now is inducing the freefall feeling but I will persevere.I'm getting a bit obsessed and possibly trying too hard. Many thanks again for your advice and I hope you have happy travels. Steve
