Noises and Diet Questions

Every single time I attempt to project, my house will creak and settle and I can feel the vibration/hear the sound (just like if someone walked through a hallway in an old house and it made a sort of popping sound) or the heater turns on and it sends panic through my body and rips me out of my trance. Usually (if no sound interrupts) I will get to a point where the walls woosh away from me and I can see my room in pretty good detail with my eyes shut, it really irritates me when a noise interrupts me because I barley have any time to explore looking through my eyes and attempting to exit my body.

Question #1: Do you guys have any suggestions on how I could prevent these external sounds from freaking out my body

Question #2: Are there any foods I should avoid that could be making it harder to get out of my body? (Have you been able to project after eating something very unhealthy like junk food or a burger? ect.)

I eat a vegan diet, raw oats with peanut butter, half a banana, hemp seeds, flax seeds and almonds for breakfast and dinner is quinoa or beans and rice (I usually eat the same thing nearly every day).

I have faced the same issue initially when I started to astral project. When I started to ignore, it started fading away. So Ignorance works!

Keeping a goal will help you to concentrate more on what has to be done than these external sounds.

Question #2: Are there any foods I should avoid that could be making it harder to get out of my body? (Have you been able to project after eating something very unhealthy like junk food or a burger? ect.)

  • Vegan food with fewer proteins
  • No alcohol, cigarettes and marijuana
  • Make sure you had good food 2 hours before trying to project
  • Do not starve either

Setting a solid goal I can keep focusing on should help tons. I noticed if I would smoke bud it may be easier to enter that state of complete calmness but to actually "push" myself into sleep paralysis and beyond was near impossible XD Thanks Praveen! Your responses are always useful blush
