My first try on AP

                            Well this is what happen when i try to astral project .....Last nite i decided to practice astral projection I lay down in an quite environment  n i relax my body by saying myself "my hands are getting relaxed ..........my legs r getting relaxed " and i relaxed my whole body (but my eyes they were rolling like a tick tock clock here n there )n i started to count my breath as enraged master said like "b.in 1 b.out 1 ............b.in .20 b.out 20 "thn i got confused so i started to say "i am going to be awaken in my sleep "(even now my eyes were rolling n i cant control it ) time passed it was 30 minutes after  i started n my body was like "selva u have to move now its not comfortable here come on plz move " and i moved but my mind was repeating the same thing  i am going to be awaken in my sleep n i slept n when i woke up again  that same line burst into my mind like it was all i was thinking about ......... my first attempt total failure

                          Then today noon i again tried i lay down comfortablely straight  again started to say i am going to awken in my sleep time passed nearly an hour i felt my whole body relaxed but tooo heavy to move for sometimes but again they were normal again heavy and again normal n i felt unusual heat in my hands n toes n my body warned " selva just do as i said u r not comfortable turn on to ur right " n i did turn on i cant control :-[ . ok here is my problem n my question now :

  1. How can i stop my eyes from rolling here n there? n make it freeze in one place  :o
    2.How can i not listen to my body when it says me to move ?
  2. whats that damn sleep paralysis will exactly be like ?
    4.is lying down straight an option or a rule in astral projection ? :-\
    5.how can we not sleep during the practice ?(any tips or shortcut on that)
  3. n finally how can we get rid of other thoughts like oh i have this work to do tomorrow i should call my friend whn i get AP n soo onnnnnn......

Well, If your eyes are moving here and there, then aren't in thoughtlessness state. You are still thinking something in your mind.

If you try the counting method mentioned by Enraged Master, you shouldn't have this problem. do not stop counting anywhere. Even if you forget the number where you were, just start from the number you like. Sometimes while we are counting, we simply forget the count.

It is your mind which is sending signals, Mind always says "It's boring" for ever new things which isn't working for a while. So just ignore and start counting again.

The damn sleep paralysis is always like you are paralyzed ;D
Where you cannot move your body parts, like that someone has tied you to the bed. But at this stage, you can move your eyes and you can breath.

Lying down straight is just a suggestion, If you have some other comfortable position, you can try that excluding this sleeping straight :)
This position is suggested for the newbies who doesn't know their comfortable position :)
I usually sleep in a free fall position and keeping my head below the pillow :P

Only things is keeping your mind engaged, like the counting method. (To keep yourself not from sleeping)

Just use the counting method to get rid of other thoughts, if you get some other thought "Oh, I have to do this work tomorrow", Just cut that thought and start counting again ;D

                      Thank u praveen ,i will try that counting method tonite n let u know the result i guess maths is not going to leave me even in night  :P i will try the method n post my result as soon as possible

Nobody can escape from mathematics ;)
The key here is, you should fall asleep keeping your mind awake. That is why we use numbers(Mathematics), so that you get bored easily ;D

          ya we get bored easily n have a gud nite sleep like the day before exam  :P
          but i am not going to leave it until i get result  8)

I came with better technique in counting, Use this one, say in your mind (( 173+827= result) ) or you can use shorter numbers like 3+4, 8+2 , 7+7 and on.

                    that sounds a kind of working,i am going to start by adding two digits number  :) . ofcourse, i didnt forgot my second grade lessons i guess  :P let us see n thank u so much enraged master  :) gud nite
