Is Astral Plane the same as higher dimensions?

That is a really nice question which i want to know the answer

However i know that the first six dimensions are where you can see the 3d "live" i am 90% sure ._.

Now some people claim that there are many more dimensions than 13 or 7 . I have heard near death experiences where people see the higher realms and dimensions filled with angels and divine beings.

Holy smoke! What a thrilling question. I have my own theories but I'll try to explain what I've been taught.

To understand what's the astral plane we have to understand how the physical plane works. This subject is very hard to explain because it has a scientific side to it. The astral plane and timespace are connected, we'd have to look into quantum physics to understand better. Try searching for String theory later.

Of course, there's a whole lot more of theories out there.

According to what I've understood of all things I've ever read about the astral plane and dimensions, it's possible to have an amount of infinite dimensions.

The physical plane and the astral plane are overlapping, so to a certain extent it's ok to think that the astral plane is a slightly different copy of the physical plane. But there's also things in the astral that we don't have in the physical.

There's certain dimensions that only exist in the astral. I suppose the place where we go when die is one of those dimensions, as well as the place where angels and enlightened beings dwell.

I mentioned before in a post, but we can only visit dimensions which our frequencies are compatible with. Otherwise we might no be able to see, or hear, or both, among other things, leaving us vulnerable. So if you want to visit angels, you can, but you have to hold a very high vibrational state if you want to go to wonderful places like this.

This rule applies to the contrary as well. A dimension you want to visit might be in low frequencies, but it doesn't mean necessarily that's a bad place, say a dimension in a different planet, for example. So what you would have to do is keep your vibrational state low.I've heard of folks that are really skilled so they deliberately start to drink and smoke to lower their frequency to visit these places. Now I said that they're skilled, because it's really difficult to project when you're a smoker and drinks a lot.

There's also the theory about multiple universes, but that's unrelated.

Also why isn't astral projection taught in schools ? Think about the potential and knowledge that mankind could unlock!! It could be the fact that some think that god doesn't allow astral projection , but my opinion is that if god didn't want anyone to astral project why are so many people having astral projection experiences unwillingly? Time travel is sick! I think is downright one of the coolest things to do in the astral. It's the same as remote viewing, right? Or kind of, I suppose.

I don't mind about discussing religion at all! As a matter of fact I sort of like it.

I think the reason it isn't taught is, not only because it's not well-known but because of society paradigms and religious dogmas.

The number of people who don't even know what is astral projection is absurd. I don't dare to talk about this except with my friends and over the internet.

_* Just a little background info _

My whole family is open-minded to the paranormal, in fact, father taught me a lot of things and introduced me to astral projection, although he just did because he thought it was interesting. Me and my siblings are always debating about cosmic matters, the meaning of life, the afterlife, aliens this kind of stuff.

But the thing is, all of us, including my parents , have some sort of "mental instability" for the lack of a better term.

My father doesn't like to be contradicted and has anger issues, mother is more normal but still after she meet him I really think he unleashed her potential to be a little wacko.

Me and my older brother are the real nutters here, he's a way naive oddball, excessively sluggish and dense has some sort of ADHD, he's a little disfunctional and has some other problems we quite didn't figure out yet. He went to a psychologist,a psychiatrist, adn recently he was seeing a psychoanalyst, but he doesn't want anymore.

Like I said I'm kind of a nutter, too. I went to the psychiatrist once, but I don't want to go again, I'm sure I have some disorders but I don't think is serious to the point of needing to take medicine. Despite of having problems we're all sane. Just a tad crazy.

As I was saying, if we go talking about Ap with random people they'll just think we're lunatics. Science teaches people to question everything, and it's right to a degree. But some things are just inexplicable, we musn't question, we must feel. Yet, a lot of folks state that if there's no proof then it's not valid.

Some people only believe in what they choose to, in what's convinient for them. And some people might even know what's true, but choose to ignore it because they're not willing to get out of their comfort-zone to get a better comprehension of the world and achieve enlightenment.

Society and religion have power over people in such a way that is pitiable.

If the world won't change, then you change. It's what I think.

I connect with them quite often, but not they way I wanted yet. I ask them if there's anything they'd like me to know or to do, and some time later they'll send me signs. Still don't know their names, but I guess is because there's a lot of things going on in my life now, by the end of november the dust must have settled so I'll be able to dedicate more time to them and connect much better. I think I've seen one of them in my dreams a few times but I'm not quite sure.

They could probably help me, but not in that way, because I think they want me to achieve projection through my own efforts.

Also about having your astral body pulled, I heard it has good chances of working, but you'll probably have no memory of it the next day because you weren't the one to consciously leave the body, much like what it happens when we sleep. Most of the times we project but have no recollection whatsoever.

I never thought that our guides would feel close to us . I think that they see us more like "something that they have to deal with " like their job or their obligation. I would love to connect with them and i do talk to them in my thoughts now and then but i feel like thats not enough

I usually look around . Look at people and think of how ... not stupid but uninformed they are. All they wanna do is eat shit and fuck xd I am sorry for the way i described it but its the truth. Even if someone talked to them about what is out there, they would simply deny it . So you are defiantly right. The number of the close minded / uninformed people is mind bending .

Do you feel your guides presence when you try to go out of body? Have you seen them in your dreams ? And what you said about them pulling you out of your body is not impossible but you would surely be better off on your own.

Now to the good stuff Being pulled out of your body works.But your mind is unconscious or sleeping / dreaming.When someone is pulled out of their body , even if they know its going to happen when they go to sleep ( they have arranged it with a friend who goes oob ) they will act like a zombie or mostly a plant. So the way this could work is for the person who wants to be pulled out to go lucid in his dream while sleeping thus he can be conscious and fly away on the wings of love.

About time travel . When astral projecting you might and you might not see some " portals " on the air , flying above your city . I hope you get the picture of this because it looks amazing ~ As you probably know the higher frequency you enter the less "power" you have . In the lower dimensions you can move stuff with your mind and create thought forms . Guns , beams of light , shields , barriers whatever you can imagine that could help you. So i think that this is the way you can create portals if you really think about it .

Now about religion , i think that there is a higher being that created us all , a god. I dont know if it is called alah buda god flying spaghetti monster or wtvr :3 Many religions dont allow out of body experiences because they think that it is just bad.From my perspective this is totally wrong. People are afraid of what they dont understand.Its just that i have been crisscrossed for believing in the christian god by my friends who are all atheists. So telling them what obes are would make me be weird and crazy .My point is that you are lucky that your friends know .

Sorry for my late response,I was overloaded with study yesterday.

It's not like that, you know! Our guides are quite fond of us,and they're not nearly as what people imagine them to be. There's many types of guides out there, maybe even more than we know.

(I'm letting you know beforehand I'm about to get carried away, since spirit guides are a topic I really enjoy discussing about.)

As I was saying about the guides, I have the impression a lot of people think they're just plain pure beings without personality whatsoever. Good news is that much like us, they have their own personality,tastes, interests and uniqueness.

So your guide could be either a composed and stoic handsome young man. A silly,jaunty and caring lady. Let us not forget we still have the ones that might be non-human beings (although I'm not sure if they're corporeal or spirits).

Whenever you can try to reach out for them, do some meditation and I'm sure you'll make it!

I don't feel them when I try to go out of my body, but there was some moments in my life when I was sad/depressed that I had felt some sort of sudden, warm relief, like a little voice in the back of my head saying everything would be alright. So I guess sometimes even if we don't recognize, we feel them.

My friend asked me to pull him out when I get out. So when I do, will try and see.

Have you ever tried entering these portals? If you already have done so, how was it?

I also believe there's a God, I often see it mentioned as "Source" by meditation practitioners, psychics and so on. But I call it God because it's easier lol.

Slowly the number of people who have knowledge regarding astral projection and such subjects is increasing ( will take a long time though)

I was almost sur e that our guides were not human.Something that is not human cannot judge you because it simply doesnt know what it is like to be in the 3d or "physical dimension ". What i am trying to say is that i would be more comfortable if my guide was an angel that i would be if it was the granny next door that died a week ago (i hope that made sense ). I mean why would i expect a human being to defend me if i ever need protection knowing i have the same abilities as it has.I dont know much about guides but that is my opinion ;-;

I have felt the same relief of fear like you explained. I was just getting out of body , i got overwhelmed with fear. I panicked . I started praying to god and my guides . I remember saying " get me out of here !!! " . Then i immediately felt calm and peaceful. That happened only about a week ago so i might have mentioned that before idk

Do you think that guardian angels and spirit guides are the same thing ?

I wish i entered a portal but i haven't had a lasting astral projection for a year or so A theory would be that these portals work the same way that i think that the other dimensions work ; by thought . I dont think that they are supposed to lead you somewhere but i think that they lead you where you want to go regardless if thats in the feature the past or another dimension :3 My theory is probably wrong thought ._.

And you are right the number of people that know what astral projection is increasing . I heard some other guys in school joking about them having abilities of spraying toxic gas because they never brush their teeth and i said laughing that i can go around spying of people while out of body. They knew i was kidding [ which spoiler alert i wasnt ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( not that i spy on people xd ) ] and one of them just said astral projection. My point some people know but dont practice it.
