SP methods

Posted almost 8 years ago , by Momon

Hello all! Newcomer here. Not until long ago, about 3-4 months , I'd say, I found out about the world of astral projection.

Since then, I've been working with a couple of techniques. But now I'm interested in trying to project through sleep paralysis, once I noticed the high success rate.

If you could recommend any routine or technique that you think if properly followed will definitely lead to success, I'd be happy.

Of course any other technique is welcome, since I'm willing to try it all ツ

Hey Momon,

It's been very long time that I visited forumforastral, I got very busy these days with my work and personal stuffs, due to that I was not able to practice Astral Projection, But recently I tried Wake back to bed technique which lead me to success. Also, it is one of the best technique which makes me get sleep paralysis easily. You too can try it out.

  • Wake up between 3AM - 4AM
  • Walk a little inside your home
  • Read about the Astral Projection
  • Go back to bed
  • You will start feeling the sleep paralysis in sometime

Let us know your experience with it.

Cheers.

Dear me! These past few days we've been having a lot of new members. Welcome!

I agree with Jeff, this method is usually the one that most of people interested in sleep paralysis, learn first.

You should try it, though I've verified that to get me fully paralyzed, it takes more than this. And since you mentioned about a routine, I thought I might as well leave "my personal combo" here, just in case.

I have two major routine combos to reach sleep paralysis. I'll explain in detail.

Mucle relaxation + binaural beats

There's plenty of beats to relaxation on Youtube.

  1. I do a few exercises to tire all the muscles of de body. I usually do 1 set of 5 planks lasting about 35 seconds and give 10 seconds of break between each. But you can change this timing if you want. Just make sure to get reasonably tired.

  2. I take a warm, relaxing bath.

  3. I eat a little snack, so I can replenish energy. Don't eat anything too heavy. Don't eat too little, but don't get a full stomach either. Just make sure you're not going to get hungry.

  4. After all this, my muscles are relaxed. I ask to not be disturbed and get comfortable in bed.

  5. I search for a ( at least ) 3 hours long binaural beats video for relaxation, and start to listen to it.

  6. After a few minutes, I'm quite relaxed. I let my mind wander off and don't move my body anymore.

  7. Keep letting your mind wander, and try not to sleep.

  8. Ignore all bodily sensations. ( This will be tough ).

  9. At this point if I manage to ignore the signals the body sends to the mind to see if we're asleep, paralysis hits me, then all I do is to stay calm.

Alarm clock + wake up several times

I do this one late at night.

  1. I set up an alarm for 3 hours later. Before I sleep, I meditate, but if you're not familiar with meditation, you can do some visualization. Keep visualizing what you want to happen until you fall asleep.
  2. When I wake up I set the alarm again, only this time to a half an hour.
  3. I wake up and set it again to a half an hour.
  4. Repeat step 3.
  5. Now, I repeat step 3 again, but this time I sleep on my back.
  6. I wake up, and start to do the 4-7-8 breathing exercise

  7. After about two minutes, I'm deeply relaxed.

  8. I let my mind wander off, and try to stay in the edge of the dream world.Between awake and asleep. And resist the urge to move or to scratch.
  9. Just keep with step 8 until I get fully paralyzed.

Now is the tricky part of step 6, when you do step 5, you should set your alarm in a way that it won't take long until it stops on its own. Because, ideally, you'll wake up, but you'll keep the position you're in.

It's ok if you forget about it and move when you wake up. You still can paralyze afterwards, just remember to lie on your back.

Well, that was one big text, either way, I hope I could be of some help. Success with your experiences, peace ☮

@Momon, I have personally faced the swallowing reflex, after few days of struggle, I started to ignore or take my attention away from my face while I am relaxing myself to astral project. Try to ignore.
